I am a proud Pinay from Long Beach, California who has gradually made her way up the West Coast. I was a 7th grade English & History educator for 7 years in the south Seattle community and seeing some of my former students on campus brings me so much joy. (Yes! I still remember them!)

I chose to transition into higher education as an academic adviser because I believe education is a means of exploration and growth that every student should have access to. I have always loved working with students to make sure they have a trusted space within education that makes them feel safe and supported.

When I am not in my dimly lit office with my twinkling lights, you can find me at the public library borrowing way too many gothic horror books. And when I am not in my reading cave, you can probably catch me at a local venue watching my favorite bands or sewing my own clothes.
