Overview
Every quarter, you will be responsible for creating 10th day/census day reports to be sent to departments. These reports include total major/minor count, enrollment information, and an enrollment graph. All information will be available by running reports on BI Portal.
A separate manual for creating reports is available here: 10th Day Reporting Process. You’re welcome to revise the process, update visuals, or make changes—as long as all the required information remains clearly presented.
Here are examples of completed reports in our Departmental Census Report Archive. Once reports are completed, save the PDF in a new folder on OneDrive, and email the staff to let them know they are available to share with departments. Please also publish the reports in the archive so they are available for departments to view at a glance.
The entire process of retrieving data and refining it for the one-page report could take anywhere from 2–3 days to a full business week. Since registration activity is typically high during this time, it’s completely okay to take your time and pace yourself with this task so the report is accurate.
Report templates. This provides the templates used to assemble the information for our 12 Humanities Departments and a few additional requests from departments. It’s recommended to use 'Save As' at the start of each new quarter so you always preserve the original template.
