Matriculated and non-matriculated UW Seattle undergraduates and graduate students, other UW campus students (Bothell and Tacoma), and recently admitted students are welcome to discuss placement.
Advanced Placement (AP) scores and International Baccalaureate (IB) grades are taken into consideration by the Department of Classics, but are not direct equivalents for placement purposes.
The placement assessment for Classical Greek is not a formal examination or test. As such, there is no need for students to retake the assessment.
No academic credit is awarded for placing into a specific Classical Greek course through this assessment.
