We honor and reflect on Black history, life, and cultural achievements this February. While our resources and content for Black history month focus on our community here at the University of Washington and the Humanities, we also pay tribute to the work of African Americans and African diaspora on a broader level in language, literature, culture and society - today, and every day.
As part of centering the Black experience, Black voices and Black scholarship, we invite you to learn more about the people and classes connected with Black history and the Humanities at UW. Registration for this coming spring quarter is happening right now, and these opportunities are available for students from all programs and backgrounds.
